Torrevieja

The lively town and fishing port of Torrevieja is about minutes away by car. There you will find an abundance of shops, hypermarkets, bars, restaurants and clubs. There is also an aquapark, bowling, cinema and park for smaller children. The promenade has some fine restaurants for that special meal overlooking the Mediterranean. Boat excursions can taken from the port including trips on a glass bottom boat.

Golf

The Royal Campoamar,  Villamartin  and Las Ramblas  Golf Courses are 18 hole, par 72 courses within a short drive of the villa.  Other course including La Finca are within easy reach. The villa is an ideal choice for golfers wishing to test their skill on these challenging courses. 

The Surrounding Area.

The area around  Cabo Roig is known as Orihuela Costa.  La Zenia and Campoamar both have beautiful blue flags beached and are situated right next to Cabo Roig.  There are many beaches along the cost but Santa Pola may be worth a visit for the availability of watersports.  The major towns of interest are Alicante, Cartagena, Orihuela, Murcia & Torrevieja.  The Mar Menor where the famous La Manga resort is located can easily be visited for a days excursion.  For skiers you can drive, about 3 hours,  to the Sierra Nevada and enjoy the slopes.
